I am a family man with a passion for motorsports, football and snowboarding. After completing my plumbing qualifications, I moved to an air conditioning company where I became a qualified refrigeration engineer. I worked very hard and progressed from lead fitter to install manager.
Jamie and Ben worked quickly and efficiently; installed my new boiler well within the day quoted. Much of the time spent testing and making sure all was working fine when they left; also showing me basics of use of controls and boiler basics.

Needed a gas safe engineer, to discard of old gas pipes and carry out a boiler service, safety check, and to hook up a gas hob in my new kitchen. From start to finish, really quick to come out for initial assessment and provided a quotation. Friendly service from the team in the office, and I have felt that Jamie has been very accommodating, despite delays on our side. He has gone over above and always left the area clean and tidy. We have used their services for both air conditioning and air source heat pumps and recommended them to friends who have had an equally excellent experience. After struggling to find decent engineers who understood our air source heat pump system, Adrian and the team at Sparta Mech were recommended to us by a neighbour. Since then, we've have major and minor work undertaken to fix problems caused by the poor original installation from another fitter. After moving into a new house with ASHP we were struggling to get the house to maintain heat especially in Winter with UFH.
This resulted in high bills and ASHP working around the clock to get to our req. temp. Sparta Mech looked at the manifold unit, adjusted pressure & thermostat, reconfig the Mitsibushi Ecodan settings for heating. They explained what was required and why we were doing it. So we now have a better understanding on how to manage it going forward.
We now have a warmer house and our bills have decreased due to a steady temperature and happy ASHP. Thankyou Sparta Mech! Highly recommended.

After our MVHR unit broke down, Spartamech were a great help. Jason identified the spec of our existing unit, supplied easily comparable specs for several alternatives, gave advice and then ordered the unit we selected and arranged fitting very quickly. Then we had Chris come out to fit the unit. He made it through awful icy conditions on the lanes to get to us and fitted the unit very efficiently. Chris was brilliant - polite, friendly and so tidy, even hoovered the landing and stairs when he was done and took away the old unit. Couldn’t ask for a better service, thank you Spartamech!
